The hinge that took three years: engineering Aeon Fold

Every foldable phone has the same enemy: the crease. It's a visible reminder that the screen wasn't built to bend, just tolerated to.

Our hinge team approached it differently — instead of one fold point, Aeon Fold distributes the bend across a wider radius using a titanium-alloy multi-link mechanism with 27 individual components.

It took three hardware revisions and over 400,000 fold-cycle tests, but the result speaks for itself: a crease you have to look for, not one that finds you.
